Apple Country BBQ Class and Judging School We will have the top award winners from the Pacific Northwest Barbeque Association coming in to teach you the in's and out's of how to prepare mouth-watering Pork Shoulder, Brisket, Pork Ribs and Chicken. In addition, we will be offering a PNWBA Judging School to get you certified to judge all major competitions. Maple Leaf Briquettes and Gourmet Apple Chips provided free of charge to all participants (you can even take some home). Keep watching this site, as we get more info - it will be posted. Registration information TENTATIVE SCHEDULE Saturday 30 April 6am Class check in 7am Meat and equipment Preparation 8am What comes first, the brisket or the Pork? It will be held in Naches, which is 12 miles West of Yakima on hwy 12.
From Seattle, take I-90 East. Right past Ellensburg, you'll head south on I-82 for about 35 miles. Once your through Selah and go over the bridge, take Hwy 12 West towards Naches.
The classes will be held at the Naches Intermediate school.
Take the first right when you come into Naches, on Shafer (at Chevron). Go about two blocks..it will be on your right.
You'll see the smoke :)
