BBQ Smoker Grease Fitting?

Need to replace a damaged 2" heat resistant black plastic fitting that carries waste grease from my smoker and am having a hard time finding a replacement. Regular PVC is only good to 140F. I've tried HD and L, plumbing supply stores and a solar company, but no luck. Waiting to hear back from the smoker manufacturer. Any leads? Thanks!

I would say the smoker manufacturer would be your best source as they know the technical specs you are dealing with.

If you have a fireworks professional in your area they use a special PVC pipe that will take a temp of way over what your smoker will produce. I mean in the thousands of degrees area. That was my old profession before BBQ and I was the first in Illinois to switch over from steel pipe. Size may be a problem but they can tell you where the closest dealer in that sort of PVC is located. Good luck Jack

Turns out the galvanized 2" elbow is everywhere, once you know what to ask for. Show or mention black plastic and they all get confused. HD and Lowes are the cheapest. Plumbing supply stores were double.

That's funny and worse yet by the time you learn all the names for all the fittings, elbows, and threads, your old enough that you forget what you went to the hardware store to buy. Glad to hear your back up and runing. Jack
