BD's Mongolian BBQ (CHAIN) Wed, 09/26/07 10:16 AM (permalink)
Yes it is a chain but I enjoy this place the few times I have been here. Food is always fresh and tasty..excellent variety. I don't see many independent Stir Fry places working well here in Columbus, Ohio so I guess we gotta go with the chain. This may be the only chain which I could say I would be sad if it went under. Anyone else have a good or bad experience with this chain?

Well, since you put the food together yourself, the only way to go really wrong is to have bad meat. It hasn't happened, yet. The rest of the culinary problems I would have to blame on myself, but for one thing. Wish they didn't add some of the sauces in the beginning, they cook off then stuff is dry. Adding an egg takes care of the dry in most cases.

I haven't been there yet. They have locations here in SE Michigan as well. Judging from your reviews, I can't wait to go for my first time

The one in Bethesda, Md is pretty good. Large selection of meats and vegetables and an overall friendly staff. If I lived closer, I'd go more often.

BD's also has a birthday club and will email you a free birthday meal (with purchase of another meal of course). I couldn't bring up their website to post a link.

        Thanks,

        Kevin
