BOH Heat

Hello Everyone,
 
I just recently starting working in the back of house at a fairly large resturant in my area.
My station, which is the flatop/sautee/melt, is extremely hot.
 
The heat is not so bad that I am uncomfortable working there, but after my shift, my face and forehead is extremely red and itchy.
 
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if so, have any recommendations (if any) on some sort of creme or lotion that i could use before work to help with this.
