Hi everyone! Does anyone sell brownies or blondies in your business, and if so, how much do you sell them for? What is the size of your brownie/bars/blondies? Do they sell well on carts? Thanks for any info you may give.

We were selling them in Corpus Christi, TX. I sold them for $1.50. Size was 2X3 and about 1" thick. They were the fudgey kind. I only made up a batch on weekends (fleamarket). There were folks who HAD to have them and would get upset when we ran out or I didn't make them. Street Vending sucked in Corpus so I didn't make them for the street. I told David that I would not be making them in New Mexico. Brownies are like cookies. I was making cookies everyday when I worked at a Hampton Inn as a front desk clerk. I got burned out fast on the smell of fresh baked cookies. Not so bad on the brownies but having to make them every Friday night (plus cool & wrap) so they would be fresh for Saturday AM was a pita. TIP: PARCHMENT PAPER!!!! buy it, use it, makes clean up a breeze.

If I buy them from kids at garage sales I'd certainly buy them from a cart.... if I purchased from a cart.

THX Lornaschinske & Mar52!!! I do a specialized cake that sells well, and have been asked to do brownies by several who own carts around town, so I would not be out of line by selling them for $1.50 and they could get $2.50 which gives them $1.00 profit. All they have to do is supply space. The product comes wrapped & labeles, ready to sell, and they are 4X 2 &1/2 size. Thanks again :)
