trolasater, Thank you immensely for sharing that! We have a Food Lion store waaay out on the east edge of town. The next time I'm out that way, and after I've managed to lose some weight, I'll buy some of that and report back to y'all. I'd say it's an idea whose time has come. When I lived in Nashville, the local ice cream company had a Goo Goo Cluster variety, named after the locally-made candy, which it contained. I tried it once and was entranced. As If Frozen In Thyme, Ort. Carlton in 30601-land. P. S. Thyme-flavored ice cream would definitely not be a winner. Trust me on that hypothesis.

Ok, I googled it. It's Cherry Soda. So I can't agree that it's a "bad idea," because cherry soda mixed with vanilla ice cream sounds pretty close to heaven to me.
Now THIS is a bad idea: Microwaving M&M's in a paper cup. The cup starts to burn before the M&M's are even close to melting (melting them being the purpose of microwaving).
