This should be fun! Grocer, better try something hard to find from a simple google! Like the real recipe for Shanghai Jimmy's chili rice.

Oh, and are you a grocer? Tell us who you are. And, welcome to Roadfood!

FYI, I did try Google first and struck out. There was a mention of the item once upon a time on a history page when it was a Clorox item. The other 190 hits on Google are for Bed and Breakfast (abreviated as B&B, the same as this brand name)web pages explaining how great there recipes are that contain mushrooms.

And, they are ridiculously expensive for the amount that you get in one of those tiny little cans. I can buy a container of fresh mushrooms for not much more than one of those cans, and even after sauteeing them, I will have a quantity of excellent-tasting mushrooms that far exceeds the amount of mediocre stuff that comes from a can. Talk about poor economy!

I love the fresh shrooms also but... I do keep cans of Giergio regular and portabella on hand for two rasons. One of my grandaughters loves to eat the regulars right out of the can ( she demands the Giergio brand ), and for quick additions to all sorts of fast fix recipe dishes. I get em for 50c a can at wallyworld.
