My local Mexican place has a dessert on their menu called a Banana Chimichanga. I took the plunge last night and ordered one.
It was awesome. I wish I had my camera last night.
Bananas Foster in a Chimichanga, made into a banana split.
Banana with brown sugar wrapped in the chimi and deep fried.
The split it open and scoop up ice cream and place it on the piping hot banana goo cover it in whipped cream and sprinkle with a brown sugar & cinnamon mixture, then lightly drizzle honey over it.
No wonder my blood sugar level was "a little" high last night.
