There is a wonderful BBQ cookoff planned for Bastrop in the near future. Contestants will assemble at a location remarkably similar to my own address, and all will present for judging 10 pounds each of brisket, sausage and ribs. All BBQ will be presented in freezer bags, and special consideration will go to all Q presented in vacuum sealed packs.
As the judging will take a good deal of time, winners will be announced whenever I – uh, I mean, whenever the judges get around to it!
