Beautiful Biryani

The shot on the homepage today is making me want to run for a plate of Middle Eastern Biryani. I like the vegetarian one too, without the chicken. The perfume from the spices such as clove, cinnamon sticks, cumin, cardamon, saffron is so exotic with the texture of the basmati rice. Its not spicy at all. Try it if you can find it locally or attempt to make it, its wonderful (no, I don't have a recipe).

Great recipes 6Star. I like foodnetwork very much but UGGGGHHHH every time I go on the board, I GET STUCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know whats wrong there. Biryani is a luxurious rice dish, fit for a king, really, with slices of lemon and jalapeno and all the whole spices it looks so gorgeous mounded up on a platter with mint, etc. And lucky me I can get a great plate of it downtown NYC just about anytime for $6.
