Beefsteak Rye

I was in SuperFresh this morning and I came across an entire rack of Beefsteak Rye, both seeded and unseeded

    Boy, I haven't seen any of that. But I do still have one whole loaf in the freezer.

    Did you see any of the less-popular versions like pumpernickel?
     
    I haven't seen Beefsteak in the stores around here for some time now.  It seems like everybody's switched to Pepperidge Farm, Brownberry, and to a lesser extent S. Rosen.

    Didn't see any pumpernickel. just the rye.
     
    I have been buying Arnold's since Beefsteak was discontinued.

    Looks like there's an explanation for the reappearance of Beefsteak.
     
    I've seen Bimbo (say "Beembo") bread in the store so maybe Beefsteak will show up before too long.

    One nice thing about the "new" Beefsteak is that the slices don't require trimming to fit in a standard toaster slot!

    Never heard of Beefsteak bread.
     
    Those drivers for Bimbo need to deliver Mrs. Baird's Bread to California!
