What else do you like on your burgers instead of ketchup? I sometimes like mustard, now chipotle tabasco. Ideas?

I have developed a taste for Frank's Red Hot sauce, and I now eat it on everything from eggs, to fish, to burgers.

Mustard, mayonnaise, relish. Never catsup, lettuce, tomatoes, pickle or raw onion. Always grilled onions.

I make a "Sizzle Burger". Melt 1T of butter in a pan, add 1T of worcestershire and fry your burger. Add whatever else you like. Yum!

A good burger needs very little. I like large half pound burgers cooked medium rare with no seasoning. These burgers are so juicy they do not need mayo or any alterations of the condiment kind. My seasoning is a couple slices of bacon and real cheese, not the processed stuff. A standard hamburger bun will not work. Have it on a large hard roll and you will have achieved burger perfection.

In large bowl, mix vegetables and salt well. Place in a cheesecloth bag, fold down the top and hang on a clothesline overnight to drain. The next morning, empty contents of bag into a large container and add sugar, vinegar, celery seed and mustard seed. Mix well and let stand 2 hours. Divide mixture into pint jars, leaving 1/2-inch of head space. Wipe jar tops and threads clean. Place hot lids on jars and screw hot bands on firmly.Process in a water bath canner for 10 minutes.Let cool on a cooling rack This recipe yields about 8 pints. Yield: 8 pints

Whatever ya got... Nice thing about burgers is that you can dress them so many ways! (But I do request a slice of sharp cheddar though, if at all possible..).

Mustard, mayo and ketchup with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. Sometimes A1 steak sauce or Pappy's BBQ sauce with onions and cheddar cheese. Andrea

Yes, that was what I meant by the question: what do you like instead of ketchup/catsup" (wierd that there are these 2 different to spell - ketch vs. cats) This is an "anti-ketch/cats/up thread"- I think it is way too sweet and wanted to get other ideas...

A tiny bit of yellow mustard, Texas Pete hot sauce, raw onion, and dill chips, and maybe Swiss cheese. I keep katchup on the side for an occasional dip.
