I was being sarcastic about rather eating at Mickey D's!! There service is slow. Not the way they cook their Q. The rib dinner at the new location in Marion is $18.95. I know some people who work there. Like I said....me and many other people have the same opinion of 17 Streets Food. I've lived in Southern Illinois for over 50 years. I didn't say Larrys was great. I said there are many other choices for people to try. I know there are some people who like it. And yes even 15 bucks is to much for ribs when you can go somewhere else and get something better for allot less.........We have tried to sell 17 Streets "Shredded" pork as a fund raiser. The first time we did pretty good. The second time we tried to sell it we did poorly. People told us they were disapointed in it and wouldn't waste their money on it again. On ther other hand Great Boars of Fire Q out of Anna, Illinois is always a great fund raiser . People order their ribs and brisket like crazy. That's why we won't try to sell 17th Streets anymore.

I just got back from KC, had dinner at KC Masterpiece wasn't bad, and Haywards. I have eaten at Haywards off an on for the last 6 years, and this was the worst, the ribs were overcooked.

So Where is LC's?

It's at 5800 Blue Parkway. LC's was a featured restaurant in Dec. '04 on Roadfood.com. If you go to Restaurants at the top of this page you can see the review by searching Missouri restaurants. It gives you most of the information you need for LC's.

Hey Z, have you ever eaten at the Lenexa LC's? My buddy Gib always heads towards that one instead of Blue Parkway. Says it's more comfortable.

I totally forgot about the Lenexa location. I can imagine it is a bit more comfortable. But I don't even know where it is!

Hey, Bill V.,

I'm making a little run to KC tomorrow to shop at Cabela's. LC's and Bryant's are both calling my name, so which one should I answer?

They also got, in my opinion, a very good review on the GAS site. The link is http://www.gasbbq.net/smokinguns.htm

Check it out. Tell Linda that RibDog sent you.

Billyb, I think you should consider ribdog's friends at Smokin' Guns, You've got a "Roadfood" official invitation, after all, but if you choose just one,
I designate LC's; hell, do both, give us a report and take the excess home. You'll be the toast of Columbia. Billyv
