There are tons of "best burger", "voted best hot dog", banners posted outside of restaurants. I often laugh and say "Who said that, the guy's mother?!?" I felt that Le Tub was a decent burger, but not "best ever" overwhelming.... yes, very good meat.... what, no pickles?!?

I recently had this burger at Ribeye's Steakhouse in Beaufort, NC. Served on Texas toast and cooked perfectly medium it was wonderful.

Go to the Country House in Clarenden Hills IL ( 55th St. west of IL 83 ) and order a Country Burger; I get mine med. rare on the dark bread. Now THAT'S a candidate for best burger!
