Best Mexican Food in Wyoming

If you are traveling I80 anywhere near Rawlins, Wyoming, and you like great Mexican food, Rose's Lariat Cafe is your place to stop. I have driven 100 miles out of my way just to eat Rose's. It is very small and usually full but the wait time is suprisingly short. Must eats: green chile, soft corn tortilla tacos, and any of the enchiladas. Take the Cedar Street exit off I80 and head west into Rawlins. The cafe is about a mile on your left. Or ask anyone for directions. The place is legendary in Wyoming.

Is that the place in front of the Travelodge? I stayed in Rawlins a few years back, and had a pretty good meal in a restaurant in front of the hotel we stayed at (not in the actual front of the hotel, but across the parking lot in front of it).

Yes. I've eaten there too. Good GCS, as I remember. We ate Breakfast the next morning at the place in the Victorian mansion, also very good.
