Best Pizza in the U.S. (Another List)

OK, Food & Wine Magazine painstakingly culled through 69,000 pizzerias in the U.S. to come up with these top 5 pizzerias.
Best Pizza in the U.S.
1)    Motorino (New York)
2)    Frank Pepe's (New Haven, CT)
3)    Regina Pizzeria (Boston)
4)    flour + water (San Francisco)
5)    Pizzeria Bianco (Phoenix)

What say you?

    #2 is excellent pizza in my opinion. I prefer Sally's in New Haven though.
    #3 is also a great pizza but I don't even agree that it's the best in Boston.

    How the Hell Pizzeria Bianco keeps winding up on these lists is beyond me!
    They must have the best PR firm in existence.

    Of that list of 5 pizzeria's, I'd have to put Frank Pepe's as numero uno.
    With regards to Pizzeria Bianco, I agree with Foodbme as I'm also bewildered by their always being on a "top pizza" list.
    Although I will say, I've seen pictures of their pizza and it does look very good. But pictures and actual tasting are two different things.

    In Boston I prefer Santarpio's pizza.  You can get a grilled lamb kabob as an appetizer while you wait for your pizza.

    I'm not questioning the choices. I am sure they are all above average and I hope that woman in the video actually sampled them. But to come up with a list o 5 out of 69,000 pizzerias seems a bit ridiculous to me.
     
    The right and best ingredients are well known by a lot of pizzerias now and there is generally no secret in their preparation and proper ovens have proliferated all over the US. Water is a myth that has been used for years to promote NY, but good water, properly filtered is available everywhere. Also, there are many styles of pizza other than the classic Neapolitan that prevails in Naples, Italy. I like them all but pursue personally the goal of making that classic Neapolitan as well as I can.

    #3 is also a great pizza but I don't even agree that it's the best in Boston.
    I'm torn between Pepe's and Sally's in New Haven. In town it's 50/50 between the two. I'd about kill for a Pepe's clam right about now. Did you know that Sally's was opened by Frank Pepe's nephew?

    That sounds great....maybe they could do a Greek style pizza with some of that lamb.

    When we moved to Dallas in 2005 it was a 'pizza desert', now there are dozens of brick-oven, gourmet places that serve 'world class' pies. 
     
    Now, the differentiations are the fuel used for the oven (coal or wood) and whether or not NYC tap water is used!  And, I am sure that this trend has hit every other major metro area - evidently, even Phoenix.

    Of that list of 5 pizzeria's, I'd have to put Regina Pizzeria's as numero uno.
