I will admit his customer base includes a good number of Chicago Ex Pats. You might want to go talk with he's a great guy. Windy City Grill 2041 Rufe Snow Dr. Ste 203 Keller Tx 817-281-1400 I have not made it over there yet. I drive by there everyday and didnt even know I was so close. I will stop by there and give it a try.

ohman, are you a football fan? During football season, do you ever get tired of hearing your teams name? Its the same sort of thing with Vienna to me. I grew up eating them, and I love them. Bests Kosher is decent, but I will go the extra few blocks to get my Vienna Beef hot dog

Mr 100: You can't go wrong with Nathan's. Close 2nds, Sabrett, Hebrew National and Boars Head... That's if you want franks that need minimum to no toppings to give it taste.

I've been a real fan of those Viennies for years and years. What's really neat about them is the way you can shove at least two cans of those things into your pants pocket, and still fit a can of sardines. Boy, howdy! Add a sleeve of Saltines and you're in hog heaven for a fishing trip.

OK, I give up. What is so special about a Vienna hot dog? I have never seen one inside the borders of NYS other than that canned stuff everyone was joking about. I suspect it is just another NYC style dog that has adopted a pretentious name. What exactly is the difference between a NYC style dog and a Chicago Vienna style dog?

When you get south of San Marcos you'll find that the cheaper brands are what most are used to eating. North of there look for an all beef. Texans, from what I know, are not the best judges of a hot dog.
