Best cooking method?

I'm getting ready to open a burger & hot dog place and I want to get as many opinions as possible on how you guys prefer your dogs cooked. So do you prefer grilled (on a flat top, not char grilled), boiled, or steamed? I appreciate your time and thoughts and before anyone mentions it, I know I can do a search and find past threads about similar topics but I would like some fresh opinions. Thanks in advance, Will

My vote is for split and grilled on a flattop.

At the last two events I did I grilled a Sabrett 100% beef, skinless frank (First time using skinless). I cook on a small commercial charcoal grill. The franks will cook great and because they are skinless you won’t get the burnt marks so common when grilling regular franks. As I progress I am thinking about using a commercial propane charbroiler and a small propane flat top, I will cook the franks and brats on the grill and use the flat top for grilled onions. Superior Outlet Center (www.superprod.com) sells a Gas charbroiler up to 48” long and several versions of flat top griddles.

Grilled on a flat top, not split.
