Better warm than cold

While some leftovers are perfectly tasty cold (ie: pizza!) I've found a few things are just better warmed up than cold from the fridge.  For example, BBQ ribs.  For me, evertime I try a cold bite I put the rib down on a plate and nuke it for a bit.  I have to.  They're just so much better warm in my opinion.

Any other with food they love but it can't be cold?

The majority of leftovers, really. It'd be easier to list the things I like cold...unless it's pizza, fried chicken, pork chops, or steak, there really isn't anything that originally was warm I don't have to warm up before I can eat the leftovers.

I like the majority of my leftovers warmed up a smidgeon, but one exception is a crappie filet. The first time I tried one cold, I as shocked that it tasted so good.  When my parents lived in Okeechobee, Fl , they would venture north to come home for a visit and would bring up a a small household freezer in the back of their truck, and it would be filled to the brim with quart-sized zip-lock bags which contained enough filets for one huge meal for two people.  When I fried it, I usually fried six bags at a time for my wife, me and our two teenaged boys, with the idea that we'd have a good amount left for snacking later while watching TV.

I don't know how other fried fish are as cold snacks, but the crappie are tops.

All soup, unless it's supposed to be cold like gazpacho.

Most foods seem better warm.  The notable exceptions for me are pies.   A lot of people like warm apple pie or warm blueberry pie.   I like 'em cold, right out of the fridge.  When cold, they are nice and solid, and not mushy.   I think I prefer all pies cold, but especially the fruit pies.

Oh yeah, a nice cold slice of apple pie, love it. Only time I prefer hot apple pie is if I'm having it with some extra sharp cheddar so it melts into it.
