    They tried to fix it, but it looks like they could have done it "better/sooner"

      this is why you should always ask for a receipt and check it at once. Imagine if she hadn't checked it at first, or if she didn't get a receipt.

        I once had a cashier (I think it was at Home Depot) scold me for running my card while she was ringing up my sale. She told me to always wait until the register was totalled so I can check the amount on the "PIN pad." Otherwise I'd be accepting whatever charge was entered. Good advice, these days.

        I know people are busy, but I still don't get the idea of charging fast food.
