Boars Head Dogs

I just had a Boars Head Dog steamed in Rolling Rock Beer on a toasted potato bun with Gulden's mustard. I'm ready to have another. Anyone else like Boars Head Dogs or Rolling Rock Beer?

I like Boar's Head hotdogs. They're a poor substitute for Roessler's Yellow Tags, and even Hummels, but they're quite acceptable.

I like them too! Prefer natural casing. They have a good snap and a lot of good garlic bite. Even the “lite” are quite good.

They use more than just the boars' heads in them, don't they? Feet, too, and tails, and eyeballs, and squeals...

Nothing like an ice cold 'Rock on a hot afternoon. Like now, for instance. There's a 12 pack of long necks in the icebox as we speak....uh, better make that 11. Top

Originally posted by Bill B. They use more than just the boars' heads in them, don't they? Feet, too, and tails, and eyeballs, and squeals... No artificial colors or flavors. No cereals, no fillers, no by products. Boar's Head is only a name. In German, it signifies a "front runner" or the leader. Try some.

My local supermarket often has Boar's Head dogs on sale, both all-beef and mixed -- $3.95. Good toasted buns and Guldens mustard make for a tasty snack, or otherwise. For the carbo-challenged, Green Rock is an excellent brew for...well...um...um...not too much....
