Boiled eggs and ketchup eggs.

Hola!

Does anybody else find boiled eggs nasty and disgusting? Chinese people (as my wife) enjoy boiled eggs. I can't stand looking at them (looks slimy and gross) plus a boiled egg smells too much like flactulence for my taste.

I also knew a guy once who would get eggs, put regular Heinz ketchup in them and mix them up un till it was a soup. Was a co-woprker who worjed a morning shift. Nice dude, but I had to leave him once when he did that. Why I think that's gross, i don't know but I do.

Any comments?

Do you mean soft boiled eggs? Mom used to make those when we were sick...I never liked them...poached eggs (simmered in water w/o the shell)... again I pass... hardboiled eggs are ok as egg salad or deviled eggs

I like eggs in just about any form, as long as the white is fully cooked. In my misspent youth I put ketchup on fried egg sandwiches, but I think that was my father's idea; today the idea of eggs with ketchup repels me!

I dislike eggs, by themselves, in any form. I find eggs are best eaten as French toast or in cake/cookies. But that's just me!

I love them soft-boiled, medium-boiled, hard-boiled, poached, scrambled, fried, basted, baked -- you name it.

    I agree with Micheal,I never met a egg I didn't eat!

I don't use ketchup on eggs, but I love hot sauce on eggs!

I LOVE EGGS. I will eat them almost any way they come, except raw Hardboiled eggs taste great, but you have to boil them correctly to cut down on the sulphurous odor. Also, if I eat them with nothing else, they are so dense they sometimes choke me.

Salsa on top of a cheese omelet is da BOMB!

    I lo~uh~uh~uh~uvvvv eggs!

There are soooooo many ways to eat them.

When I was a teeny weeny lil thang, our next door neighbors spoiled me as if I were their grandchild.

When I was about 3 yrs old, I remember eating breakfast with Papaw and Mamaw - Papaw was a train engineer and had just come home after a night run - and she made him over-easy eggsa. He mushed em all up (that, by the way, is a good way to not see any uncooked white spots), then mixed in salt and black pepper. He fed me some ....ohh heaven!. I called them soppy eggs because you sop them up with pieces of buttered toast. That, with bacon and a tall glass of milk is still one of my favorite meals, regardless of time of day. But that yolk needs to be soppy! And some jam or preserve son the side to spread on the extra toast........

...and as fo the catsup part, that is something I have outgrown somehow- I only put it on somethin that is inedible otherwise, and that I must eat to not offend, although as I cook, putting catsup on anything I haew cooked except fries WOULD be an insult.

But a nice well-made salsa is another thang. Good an almost anything, and would not offend me as a cook withr.
