Boneless Leg of Lamb & Lebakase on the grill - Sun, 05/17/09 9:27 AM ( #1 )
Grilled up a nice bonless leg of lamb and a lebakase(kind of German meatloaf) that I picked up at my local Karl Ehmer pork store.
Sal & Pepper plus Olive Oil

Sliced up the lebakase.

Finished!

The lamb sure looks good...I'm trying to bring myself to try grilling some but it hasn't happened yet.  My wife and I both grew up in lamb-free homes so our experience with it is very minimal.

Is the lebakase ready to eat straight from the package or did you have to cook it?

Brad, they make it in little loaf pans at the Karl Ehmer I go to. They cook them on Wednesdays and Fridays. The one I bought was precooked.
