No nothing went over my head. I was merely responding to this sentence that you wrote: My response was tongue in cheek for those who like BM but not McD's and were not aware of the connection. And I was trying to point out that connection has nothing to do with quality

Whether you like Boston Market or you dislike Boston Market, it needs to be evaluated on its own terms since McDonald's no longer has any connection with it.

Went out to eat for lunch with a few friends and they picked a Boston Market> It had been years since I had been in one. I felt the food was average at best...almost fast food quality...and over priced for that quality...place was empty too....at lunch time!

I stick with the chicken, which is freshly prepared. I like the taste of the marinade they use. Just about everything else is................

I haven't been there since I was a kid, but if I had to chose between that and Burger King, McD's, KFC, or ...*shudder*...long john silvers....I would totally pick Boston Market. However, I detest eating in fast food joints due to the filth factor, and you kind of have to eat inside Boston Market if you're on the road because it's pretty hard to eat a plate of chicken dinner in the car.

I've never seen a problem with cleanliness at a Boston Market, the ones I have been in all all been well monitored and the food rotated and refreshed frequently. My partner is vegetarian so this a sometimes choice for us because she can get 3 vegetable sides for a meal, we only eat there maybe twice a year. My only complaint is the plasticware they give you does a lousy job of holding up.

We used to love eating at Boston Market. That is, until we walked in one day and ordered our usual half chicken with stuffing, etc.. We were told that they no longer have stuffing and so I asked "why". They said that they will only have stuffing when it is "in season"!!!! What the....????? No kidding! That, plus the fact that there's about 5 million grams of sodium in their food, is why we haven't ever been back. (That was about 4 or 5 years ago.) We sure do miss it.

Last trip to Boston Market they were giving samples of creamed spinach. The manager told us that they seasonally rotate their sides all of the time.
