Boston area

I'm going up to Gloucester next week for a few days with the wife I seem to recall somewhere in the Boston area or just outside of it by a beach somewhere that had steak sandwiches that are supposed to be very good but I can't remember the name of the place its been a few years since I saw the story or might have even been on a tv show. Does hat sound familiar to anyone? Thanks
Any other places to eat in that part of Mass to go to please feel free to post them lol  Thanks Again

That area would be fried clam area. Several that compete for the crown in Ipswich. I wonder if you are talking about Kelly's Roast Beef on Revere Beach? If so, would definitely go with some great fried clams. I didn't grow up around there, so don't really get the whole Kelly's thing. There good, but wouldn't travel far for it.

Even better than Kelly's is Nick's Roast Beef in Beverly.  And if I had to pick one can't miss place in that area, it would be Clam Box in Ipswich.

I agree 100%.  I used to live on Revere Beach and Kelly's is just OK.
There's also Black Cow Tap & Grill in Hamilton.

Kelly's is good (they are a small chain now), but I hope that is not what you remember Boston for. You will have to pass some good sandwich shops to get here. If you are in Gloucester, though, why leave town?? It has been a few years, but I have always been pleased with the food up there. Heck, you are visiting a local, get some local advice!!! Have a great trip.
