Brain Dead

I must be. I bought a 6 pack of Wolf Brand Chili with no beans, on Amazon. I got it home, my wife says, you bought that stuff before, you hated it. I had completely forgotten that indeed I had, and indeed I hated it. I make a killer Chili here, but for breakfast sometimes I like a Chili Omelet, never know when the crave will hit, hence the purchase. I opened a can, upon heating, I put it on scrambled eggs. My Lord, what absolute horrendous crap, how could anyone, except me buy this ridiculous garbage twice. This slop makes Michael Hoffman's Chef Boyardee whatever, seem inviting. Does anyone here like Wolf brand...no hard feelings if you do, just lol!

Never found ANY Canned Chili that was edible!
Next time you make chili, put some in a couple small freezer containers, take them home and freeze them for when the "Crave" hits!

Don't worry.  I'm the same way with Burger King; every three years or so I forget why I hate it and have to try it again to remind myself.

You have to order Wolf Brand from Amazon!

Down here you can't walk through a Wal-Mart without tripping over a few displays of it.  In fact, it seems to take up more shelf space than Progresso Soups.

Some days it's actually cheaper than dog food!  And, if you wonder why, just open up a can!

You don't like Wolf chili? There must be something wrong with you.

Probably so - especially as I am absolutely convinced that Five Guys makes a better burger than Waffle House.

    Tom,
Yes, you are indeed brain dead.  You make excellent chili at Chubby's.  Take some home!  Don't buy that nasty stuff in a can.  Sheesh.

I walked into a dive bar one day, and on the menu, proudly displayed, was "Wolf Brand Chili, $3.50 bowl".

I walked back out. At that point, even their beer was suspect.

Never having had a squashed flat, cooked to a crisp burger at a Waffle House I can't say.

After years of hearing about it,  I got a can of Wolf's last year.  I didn't hate it, but it had something like 29g of fat per serving, and a huge % of saturated fat.

Lately I've been seeing it in Big Lots and Dollar Tree.
