Breakfast at White Castle?

I was reading the Wikipedia article on White Castle. On it, they had WC menu items. Among them were Breakfafast sandwiches, and hash browns. I haven't ever came across a White Castle that served breakfast - where are they?

My local White Castle, in NY, had breakfast sandwiches. I tried one...once. It was a sausage like meat substance with an egg like mass of yellowish material on the standard issue WC burger roll.

As egg sandwiches go, I'd rather have a cheeseburger for breakfast.

Now that you mention it, I am not sure it was still on the menu when I last stopped there (2 weeks ago). I'll check again and let you know. Oh, and just so you know...if my wife yells at me for eating "crap", I am going to blame you for sending me on this research project.

All the White Castles in Ohio, which is where the comnpany is headquartered, have breakfasts.

Excuse moi... Krystal's has breakfast, also...

Yep, here in Cincy, all the Whitey's have breakfast. I refuse to do eggs at any fast food place {if there's a good one, I'd like to know], only sausage sandwiches with cheese, and only when I'm in a hurry. Whitey's are served on their burger buns, and I must say, it's not bad. I know I've had the hash browns, but don't remember what they're like, so they must not have been "outstanding".

In addition to the little ones on thier hamburger buns, the White Castles here in Columbus have breakfast sandwiches served on wheat toast that have a real hard fried egg on them along with sausage or bacon and cheese. I think they are the best breakfast sandwich you can get from FF. And they are only like $1.35. The has browns are simialr to the ones at McD's but they are thicker and have more flavor.

to suzy's point - The Hardee's breakfast biscuits (incl egg) are imho very good. Usually. Course, all the Hardee's in Cinti mysteriously locked their doors one night several years ago and never reopened. I stopped at one on my last trip to Indy (about a year and a half ago), was just as good as I remembered

i always thought breakfast at white castle was a bag on cheeseburgers after a night of drinking.

I like the sausage with cheese on a bun. The hashbrowns are good. Coffee is good as well.

That's what it is around here...Despite no breakfast menu, they are open 24 hours around here, and always seem to be busy.

All White Castles in the Chicagoland area serve breakfast. It is not a strong point, really not a strong point. If I'm in the mood for White Castles, it's not for the breakfast regardless of the time of day. Double cheeseburgers know no clock...sorta like it's always happy hour somehwere!

Living in New Jersey, I'd always eat White Castle cheeseburgers around 8-9 am. I do believe there were some limited breakfast items on thier menus as well.
