I'll be in Richmond this weekend. Any suggestions for Sunday morning? I've heard Karen's diner is good. Matt

McLeans on Broad Street is outstanding. Get either the big breakfast or the country ham breakfast.

I work in Richmond but live in Williamsburg, so I don't eat breakfast here very often. I *do* sometimes indulge in Rainbow Donuts. They are just west of Karen's Diner (never been, but looks good!). I think they are the best donuts I've had - big and fluffy glazed donut, much better than Krispie Kreme. 3rd Street Diner is popular, but it is smokey so I don't go. It kind of depends on where you are staying, too. If you're out in the West End you may not want to come downtown for breakfast. Cathy

We ended not eating in Richmond at all. We ended up staying north of the city, and we were heading north, so we ended up eating in a great diner in Fredericksburg, VA, right next to the great "Carls Frozen Custard " place. We had Custard later that day. Matt
