Brickyard lounge Daytona. Wonderful burger

Finally after hearing about it for years we were in the area and stopped for lunch yesterday (Friday 07/13/12) The burger is char-grilled over an open flame and probably about 8oz. It comes with several standard toppings and offers the option of several more such as grilled onions, cheese, mushrooms etc for an additional charge. A basket with fries (Pretty good) and a small serving of sweet coleslaw is included.
This is easily one of the best tasting burgers I've ever had. I want to thank sk bob for bringing this place to my attention.

My fave too.  I hope you had the charbroiled wings too.

We were not able to try the wings this trip but I was sorely tempted. My wife and I both had the cheeseburger. They were pushing the steaks pretty hard, don't know if this is a new item for them but 1/2 the couple next to us had a NY strip and the other had a chef salad which both looked good. The chef salad looked like it weighed 5 lbs.
If we lived in the area we would try several things but as very occasional visitors I'll probably have to stick with the burger. 
BTW management was very friendly and service was prompt tough a tad snippy. I only mention this because many reviews on various sites weren't pleased with wait staff.

Roz and I were there a few years ago.  We were staying at the Marriott;s Courtyard just a few miles west of the location.  It was outstanding.  IMO one of the best burger places I have visited.  Daytona is always a super visit.

The "NO ADDITUDES" on the sign means you are not allowed to "ADD" anything nasty to your burger to ruin it, such as nasty mayo.  ;)
