I've heard that a candy long gone, Bonomo's turkish Taffe is making a comeback, and mostly because people have been begging for its return. I'll welcome it back...even "Fizzies" from the 50's have made a comeback....and Nedick's Orange soda is sold in New York again!! Can "Cocoa Marsh" chocolate syrup, my 50's favorite be far behind?? Or Post "Pep" Flakes? If you had a company's ear, what product would you beg to have put back on the shelves???? Unless you know something I don't know, I am still waiting for Bonomo's "comeback".

How about the giant size Nabisco Shredded Wheat in those oblong boxes with layers of cardboard between the shredded wheat...in the fifties those cards had sports figures and such printed on them and they were highly collectable!

I agree with the Noodles Romanoff. I also really miss a cookie from the 50's - not sure how long they were around, but they were a cookie covered with a mound of marshmallow with a spoonful of jelly inside. The whole thing was dipped in chocolate. Can't remember the name - can anyone help me with this?

At the very least I know we get the British version of that, which is alive and well in the UK in several flavors of jelly. Next time I go to the supermarket I'll make a mental note of the name for you!

For my missing item wish: Any west coasters remember KOALA drinks?? They had them in the late 80s in the Bay Area. I know they didn't have them on the east coast because my old boyfriend was so upset about not getting them when he went back to MA & NY. My favorite was Orange Passion Fruit. It was way WAY better than the stuff you get now (NAntucket Nectars etc). Less sweet and better flavor. They also did a great Orange Mango. I wouldn't be surprised if Snapple & Nan/Nectars bought 'em out or ran 'em out of business. But they were so much better than either. Nice simple packaging too. I would love love love to be able to have those back.

Cecif - Thanks! I'd really love to know the name of those and see if I could get them here. Sometimes when I feel really nostalgic I think one of those would help!

hatteras04- I have bought the frozen five alive juice only once recently and can't remember where I bought it. Even growing up it was hard to find in supermarkets on Long Island. My cousins in CT would come down during the summer to go on my Grandfather's boat and they would alway's bring five alive juice boxes. It was a special treat for me and my brother. Jello brought back pudding pops not to long ago. I think good humor makes it. Most of the stores by me(FL) carry it.

I just looked up pudding pops and found out that popsicle makes them not good humor. However, I went to the popsicle website and they were nowhere to be seen. I wonder if their not making them anymore. I also found that Kemps makes pudding pops, not jello brand though. I don't know where to get them, but I sent them an email. I'll see if they get back to me. http://www.kemps.com/products/prodDetail.aspx?cid=698&plc=21&pcc=52

My Grammy worked for Ocean Spray, so I miss the things she used to get, little cartons of orange & apple juice, Crantastic, Cran Blueberry back in the 80's when it was test marketed.

Around 1994-1995 when the whole fat-free thing exploded, there was a brand of potato chips, Louise's, and they were allegedly fat free. They were not half bad, I liked how crunchy they were. One of the flavors was Maui Onion? Anyone?

Vegetable Thins crackers. And the six pack of frozen cupcakes that used to be available the freezer aisle. My dad used to but them all the time: one with strawberrry icing, one with orange icing, one vanilla, one chocolate, and one coconut, and I forget the last one.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to post about these: Cheez Kurls. Chicken & Cheese flavored. Oh yeah. The year was 1990, they could be found in the snack aisle at Walgreens. I was in HS & this was a very good treat. The chicken flavor was subtle, but good http://www.taquitos.net/snacks.php?manuf_code=617 ^^that is the same company, the logo is the same as on the bags back then. I haven't seen them since. Wild & Mild Ranch Fritos Cookies & Creme Twix Jay's Calypso chips, bright magenta bag, slighty hot & sweet chips

I wish they would bring back: Mint flavored Snapple Carnation Breakfast Bars Original Taco flavored Doritos Merry Mint Cookies- these were sold around Christmas time and I believe made by Archway. They were round and white with peppermint in them. I have looked for years in many different states and cannot find them. Assorted Puffs-These came frozen-three sheets-one was bacon, one was cheese and one was onion. You baked them and they "rose" and they broke off into little squares to eat- I cannot remember who made these. Last time I saw these was the mid 1990's. Nicole
