Little Debbie Lemon Bars The ORIGINAL Taco Chips of the (maybe) late 1960's or 1979's ???...before the sour cream fad... The ORIGINAL BBQ Chips by Granny Goose and Laura Scudders...the Kansas City bbq and other flavor varients taste yukky in my opinion... UNCLE MILT'S POTATO CHIPS...BBQ, Garlic (!!!), regular...this was a local brand in the 1960's from San Leandro, CA...they also had a small coffee shop in downtown San Leandro...what I liked about the Garlic Chips is that it was just agrlic and salt, not the garlic and onion flavor that is more contemporary...

drummagick here, who last posted on page 3 ;) I was thinking about that packaged beef stroganoff again and so did a google search just now and found someone else who remembered it fondly http://www.ralphrobertmoore.com/lately081002.html I had been trying to remember who made it for years. I didn't remember it being Lipton's, but I"m just glad that I wasn't imagining the product! eta: oh my gosh! The commercial for Lipton's Beef Stroganoff! I can almost taste it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8FtfCz9lSo

Elmer's mint bubblets Sunshine raisin biscuits Frozen dinner - can't think who made it - when microwaves first came out, there was a TV dinner with a variety of choices, but the beef tips were very tasty - I remember they came on a hard, microwave plate you could reuse. mbrookes - I miss those Kraft garlic and jalapeno rolls too. Also, Velveeta hot Mexican cheese. There's a couple recipes I make that call for the garlic rolls, now I use regular Velveeta and a few drops of Tabasco or Sirachi in it's place.

The Kraft web site has a recipe for a substitute for the garlic roll, but it calls for "garlic to taste." The point was that the rolls already had the right amount of garlic so you dodn't have to guess.

They still have Tuna in oil. A lot of food brands make them. We always keep grabbing them by mistake when we go shopping. As for me I want Pepsi Blue back. I loved that soda. I also want WWE ice cream bars back. The cookie part of it was so good. And my supermarket used to make these awesome moleasses cookies, but they stopped making them awhile ago.

Bart - thanks, I'm thinking of a much later date of course, maybe it was Marie Callendar. If you are near a large Asian market - check out Sultana biscuits as a close second to those Sunshine raisin biscuits. Their raisins are harder and chewier than I remember, but at 1.39 a bag, not a big loss if you don't like them.

I have been lurking on this forum and reading it for quite awhile so first time post for me. Anyway, I read this last night and thought about Entenmann Products. I'm in the Midwest and we have been devouring Entenmann's for at least twenty years but tehre are severeal items I have not seen since at least the late 1990s. No idea if they have been discontinued or just not in my area anymore. I miss the white chocolate macadamian nut cookies, the creme filled choclate cake and the cookies that used to make around holiday times with chocolate on the bottom and sprinkles on top. Don't know what those were called but they were good. Also, haven't seen any of the Kraft bagelfuls lately? Are those gone as well?

Personally I can't help you but I am sure that some of our posters will do so. I have attached their website so that you can review what they have and what they ain't. http://www.entenmanns.com/ Welcome to the site and please feel free to chime in with all your new thoughts. Red Oval Farms stoned wheat thins - I love these crackers, I think they're still sold, but not in our area. I've tried other brands, but nothing compares.

Thank you, Paul! glad to be here. Checked the website a couple of the things I mentioned are still but I have not seen them in stores in my area for quite sometime. I actually live not too far from an Entenmenn's Outlet Store. I go there fromt time to time to stock up on bagels but I never find anything but endless donuts (which I don't care for) and coffee cakes. Bah!

We live near an Entemanns outlet store also, and any thing sold there resembling a bagel wouldn't be an actual bagel!

A few of you mentioned the original TACO FLAVOR Doritos. Well. ... Good news! I can say for certain that they have been back since at least last spring. They are even using a retro looking packaging that looks very much like the original (except for nutritional label, bar code, etc.). I don't know all the places that sell them, but I have seen them in Publix in FL, and in Giant in VA. Glenn

All I need to do to bring back discontinued products is to dig into the back of the fridge. And don't even ask about the freezer. God only knows what is there. On my behalf I will say that if it's too green and fuzzy I get rid of it.
