Bubble gum cigarettes

Does anyone know if the bubble gum cigarettes are still being sold? I remember back in the 80's they use to sell them and some candy matches too. I know they still sell the hard kind but I would like to know if they still sold the bubble gum kind and where can I find it?

I don't know where you live, but the justifiably world-famous Economy Candy (108 Rivington Street New York, NY 10002 1-800-352-4544 http://www.economycandy.com/) has an impressive selection. In order to avoid offending those who believe that children adopt every behavior that they play at, the product's package now refers to the content as candy sticks. Whatever.

I loved that cornstarch "puff" of smoke..if they were fresh ! Had a two pack a day habit...I wonder if they have a gum to kick the gum now ? Nah, smoking worked just fine for me .

6 years ago I gave out Candy cigarettes and bubblegum cigars for halloween. My my neighbors thought it was somewhere between hilarious and great ... my girlfriend was horrified and not terribly amused. Ok - it was not very PC. I must admit, in retrospect I probably shouldn't have been contributing to the delinquency of the local kids with such treats.

We sell candy cigarettes at our drive-in theatre concession. You should see the looks I get when I ask the kids to show me some ID.

I absolutely LOVE candy cigarettes (I know it is different from the gum)!! I live in Ohio and there is one place I can buy them in bulk. I still have a scar on my leg from when I was like 9 and tried to "light" the gum cigarette and the gum melted and landed on my leg!!!

Our parents always made sure we had candy cigarettes with our Kiddie Cocktails. They wanted us to be just like them!

If you find yourself in the Portsmouth, NH / Southern Maine area you can find them at Yummies in Kittery, Maine (right on Rte 1 northbound side). They have a lot of retro candy / gum there as well...Charms, Clove gum, Teaberry gum...etc...

Candy cigarettes have been replaced with bubblegum 'chew', just like the big league ballplayers. mark
