Buddy's Pizza

Has anyone ever tried Buddy's pizza? It's a small chain of pizza joints in the Detroit Michigan area. According to their website they have won numerous awards. I live about 2 hours away and would like to know if it's worth the drive. http://www.buddyspizza.com/

RedGreene, I have had Buddy's Pizza, although it was in August 1992. I loved it, and I remember seeing baseball cards of Al Kaline hanging down. (At the time I was a serious baseball card collector, going after the classics, so that was awesome!)
I remember running into a Buddy's Pizza (or similarly named restaurant) up north in Cadillac, but it wasn't the same despite also being in Michigan.

Oh, and I forgot to specify the location: I ate at the one in Dearborn. That had the Al Kaline memorabilia.

The next time you are in the Detroit area, RedGreene, try PizzaPapalis. The Original sit-down restaurant is in Greektown, but they have other locations around town that will serve you a fabulous pizza. Their website: www.pizzapapalis.com
