Buffetbuster in Wisconsin

I am pleased to announce our friend Buffet buster will be in the Milwaukee area on Feb.22.I know alot of you will be in another part of the country having a good old time, but Buffetbuster wants to meet for brunch at Jack Pandls at 11:00( thats located in Bayside, just off I-43.)Would love to get a group together-I know its early, but would like a count about 2 weeks before. This time, I will have gotten out from under my rock and will attend! I will find the details of the menu, prices, etc. Not sure if this is the right forum to announce this on, but would love to see all that can attend!www.pandlsinbayside.com

annpeeples, this sounds very interesting. Milwaukee two months in a row, huh? And a week after Greenville / Memphis. Geez, my poor little nine year-old Nissan is never going to survive all the highway travel that I've got planned this year ( that's the downside - the upside? ROADFOOD!! ) Please put me down as a definite for this event.

    Ann-
Thanks for posting this.  Needless to say, I am hoping to meet as many of the locals as possible.

    X1-
I don't have a set itinerary planned out yet, but I know I will be spending Saturday bouncing between Sheboygan, Manitowoc and Green Bay.  Weather permitting, of course!  Also hoping to get a kringle, hoppel poppel from Benji's or Jo's Cafe and a stop at McBob's.  Oh, and at least one stop at Kopp's.  All this subject to change, depending on how I feel that day!

    MilwaukeeFoodLover-
Sorry I will miss you.  But you are the smart one, going someplace warm in February.

This is a great link to a great trip. I remember how impressed I was when read it.  The link is timely, I cannot plan for trips in the future, but the time to go is now.  I think that very shortly I will be jumping into a car and hightailing it to Wisc.. I know that I will be going through Milwaukee and McBob's looks like one spot to hit.

I am surprised that buffetbuster let word of his impending trip leak out.  I've heard he likes to move in secrecy so that pie shops don't artificially raise their prices in anticipation of his arrival.

    Buffetbuster -

I may alert the local media for the Northern leg of your trip.  I think all the TV affiliates would be there to capture the historic occasion if you made a stop at Phil Rohrer's Lunch.

Some of us may try to join you for the Manitowoc-Sheboygan portion.  That is my neck of the woods during the work week. I'll watch for further  details.

I dont know that Buffetbuster is set on Pandls. We could always change the location to Benjis-just a thought.Pipe in on your opinions!!! Or still do Pandls and then stop at Benjis-I could sure use some good corned beef, and of course some good chopped liver to go!

I was planning on contacting you to see if we could meet for a meal somewhere.  Benji's for breakfast Sunday morning sounds like a great idea.  I can taste that hoppel poppel along with a Sprecher's root beer, right now.  Any idea what time they open?

We're usually at Benji's on Sunday for breakfast and/or a pound of corned beef to go with a Miller's rye. Keep us in the loop.

    CSD & Mrs. CSD
I was planning on contacting you to see if we could meet for a meal somewhere.  Benji's for breakfast Sunday morning sounds like a great idea.  I can taste that hoppel poppel along with a Sprecher's root beer, right now.  Any idea what time they open?

Benji's opens at 7:00am. Would sometime between 9:00 & 10:00am work for you?
