I remember these as a kid and I thought they were gone forever as the bennigans around me stopped serving them. With the Golden Age of the Sliders at hand I have seen they have returned to the menu. Has anyone had them recently? Are they as good as they once were?

No Fatty but I have always like the food at Bennigans.

And... I noticed some small burgers on the menu at Chili's. Hmm, is chili's w/ an i or an e?

You spelled chili's right. Everywhere has sliders now.

Thanks Fatty. I shoulda known for sure since I used to frequent the original Chili's on Greenville ave. in Dallas. Back then you could get a margarita, and make a few new friends, while waiting in line to get in. And... the chili tacos were great!

Ok, back to those mini burgers.

I haven't tried the ones at Bennigans. I tried them at Chilis and they were terrible. The meat was subpar, the buns were as hard as rocks and they were cold. Maybe it's just the location I went to but I won't be going back to Chilis any time soon.

Thanks for the tip HotDog. What a shame how Chili's has become. :~(

Oh, Chili's folks... I am not looking for a job but... I would consider a position in an advisory capacity. Don't forget that I was there from the start. The Chili's good old days are still in my memory.

I am bettin the ones at Bennigens are better.
