Guess that would require stopping at BK wouldn't it?

No to tasting and no to stopping. Nothing else they have for sale is worth eating why try deep fried bread stick?

Do like the recent ads w/ the smiling king however, not enough to waste money at the store however.

Well, I admit I have tasted them. They are not too bad, if you want deep fried bread. They are a quick and easy finger food when you are driving and don't have time to stop somewhere for a "real" breakfast. However, I wouldn't really call them "French Toast" either. I guess I like the crunchieness and ease of eating.

And don't even get me started on 'chicken fries'.

Oh, I had a funny feeling about these cause my friend bought them one morning and I was like "Why are you eating fries so early in the morning?" and then she took them out of the Burger King bag and showed me that they weren't fries, they were french toast sticks ! But seriously though, they smelled exactly like BK's French Fries LoL ! It must because they deep fry them in the same oil.

I have not had the french toast, but the chicken fries are not all that bad, as compared to McNuggets, but then I don't hate fast food. FF is not my first choice, but I do think it serves a purpose. BTW, Stillhere, this is usually a friendlier group. Welcome to Roadfood, at least from me

I think they're ok, but for the money I sometimes by a box of the frozen kind (murrays brand?) at the grocery store and pack them along for the ride in to work. I don't do a lot of FF, but I personally feel that BK is a bit of a step up from McDonalds.
It's the Omelet sandwich is killing me. Eggs, cheese, and triple pork. How could it be bad? I know its really a horrible horrible thing to put into your body, but I feel that I will soon give in to the temptation.

tmiles: you're very right...Welcome StillHere! (and I was lauding good manners on another thread...shame on me)

I don't like deep fried bread, as a general rule of thumb. Even funnel cakes aren't my thing)
So, deep fried french toast?...no no.

I would go to Waffle House first! (how 'bout that!" /> )

I do not want to go against the grain but I will tell you what I enjoyed. Several times on the road while driving a whole bunch of miles, I have stopped and bought those rascals. They are a little bit like a small treat. I had them fresh, dipped them in syrup and enjoyed them with a Diet Coke and from my point of view, I enjoyed them. I am sure that there are many more products that are better but at that point and time, it hit the spot. I am not a advocate of their business or any other place that is fast food but when you are on the road, got places to go and not a lot of time to get there, sometimes there are places that just does the job.
