Burger King's New $1 Double Cheeseburger

QFan has recently seen TV ads for BK's new $1 double cheeseburger with onion straws/rings on top of it.  I understand this is BK's long awaited challenge to Mickey D's dominance in the value menu segment w/ its double cb whose sales have long topped all the other chain's value menu offerings.
None of the BK outlets that I've checked in the SW FL area are carrying it.  I suspect it may still be in the testing phase.  Has anybody seen it yet?

I've seen it on the signboards here. Have not yet tried it, but I will.

I don't get it. Isn't a regular cheeseburger from BK already bigger than a McDouble?

Sorry for the double post. Is there a way to delete one?

There is a little box on the upper right-hand corner of each post called "Message Options".  Hold your mouse over that box and a small list of options drops down.  One of them is "Manage message". Click on that and a smaller window opens up that says "Delete this message" and under it "Reason".  You would type "duplicate"  after "Reason" and then click the little garbage can that says "Send to recycle bin".  Then close that smaller window.  In a few seconds your duplicate message will disappear.

Just for the heck of of I swung by the Burger King here to see if they have this burger. They don't. So, to help me overcome the disappointment I drove to White Castle and got half a dozen Castles with mustard and no pickle.

I wish we had the WC option as a fallback.  Of course, if we had it down here QFan probably wouldn't be fooling around w/ Burger King in the first place.

Sorry about that QFan.

I stopped by a local BK yesterday & asked if they had the $1 double cheesburger because there was signs at the store saying they had it.
turns out they do offer it.
but it was Tuesday & they had the Double Stacker  2 for $3.
next time I'll get the double cheeseburger.
