Burgerman...?

Hi, this is my first posting, so be gentle...Lol! I grew up in Springfield Ohio in the 1960's and 70's, and about 1967-68, a new restaurant came to town. It was called Burgerman. They had general fast food fare, hamburgers, fries, onion rings, drinks, milk shakes, and turnovers. When they first opened, they gave out coupons for receiving free onion rings or fries with your burger purcahse. I used those coupons for months. I also remember that they had a fat guy with a chef's hat for a mascot. Does anyone else remember this franchise. As I recall, the food was pretty good.

I've never heard of Burgerman, but I do recall that Burger Chef had a avoirdupoise-challenged chef as a mascot and logo. By the way, welcome to Roadfood, andyh40, where all the men are handsome, all the women are beautiful, and everyone is always gentle.

Hello All, Welcome Andyh40 to Roadfood. The name Burgerman was quite a title to pick for a business. We had a few burger place before the McDonalds and Burger Kings took over, and I miss them. And Michael, you forgot that "all the children (or is that chicken) are above average." Take Care, Fieldthistle

Hello All, Michael, well, if not children, then it must be where all the chickens are above average. Take Care, Fieldthistle
