Read that this was a good one. Dad lives an hour away and is curious as to whether it's worth the trip from Knox County Kentucky. Anybody been?

Scrumptious, I'd not heard of Burlington Fish Market until you wrote your post. I did look it up, and I'm wondering if it is a restaurant as your question might imply, or if it is a retail store selling frozen and/or fresh fish? I'm tempted to think your dad might be better served in any case making the drive to Jungle Jim's in Fairfield, OH. Named one of the top 20 fish markets in the country.

Yep, daddy love Jungle Jim's. It's incredible, we don't have anything to match even in Austin where we have the flagship Whole Paycheck which take up an entire city block. Burlington sells a hot fish sandwich, saw a pic on Twitter courtesy of soulfoodscholar and it got me interested.

I have never been to Burlington Fish Market. The next time I am in the east part of town, I will certainly try it as there is no other place in Knoxville that sells hot fish sandwiches that I am aware of. Thanks for the heads up. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN
