Burmese Food

With all the tension going on in Burma (Myanmar) these days I'm curious about Burmese food? Has anyone heard of or been to a Burmese restaraunt? I read about one in a New York Eatery guide a few years ago but that about all I heard of their cusine. I wonder is their food like Thai or East Indian?

Burma has curries. It has similarities to it's neighbors Vietnam and Thailand, but nothing exact. It's got you meat on a stick, big soups and stews. Traditional means lots of rice and seafood, but you never know what you'll get in an american restaurant.
