I'm starting to shop around for insurance. Any recommendations? Does anybody use that "food truck insurance" advertised on mobile food news or mobile cuisine?

Make sure you use a broker that understands food trucks, concessionaires, etc Make sure you shop around, you will get quotes all over the place. Most events will want to see 1,000,000 liability I pay right at $600 yr through Liberty NW, business liability only.

Chef, Does that include your coverage for your trailer? Hell I'm paying a lot more than that. A lot more.

I use United Fire & Casualty. I went through a local broker(Holden Duluth Agency) who was knowledgable in the type of business I was in.( Ice Cream truck) This is for general business and product liability for $1,000,000 coverage each occurrance. same for personal injury. $2M products coverage. I pay right around $440 annually. I can add another $1M for like $500/year. Pretty reasonable and they give me Acord certificates showing additional insured's ( most events want that) for no additional charge and I get like 10 each year.

[/quo It would have been nice if you would have introduced yourself and brought something to the forum, maybe mention that you might be able to help someone out with their insurance needs, instead you just dropped a bomb with your website..... this is Spam my friend!

Do you guys that are taking credit cards, buying data breach insurance ? I just got a letter trying to sell data breach insurance to me, in case my list of customer email addresses gets hacked/stolen and or credit card numbers. They are saying the policy covers government fees, and monitoring cost that average $250.00 per customer? No indication of what a policy would run. jack
