The pulled pork and the chiken are very good. The brisket - so-so. All the sides are excellent. Rt. 66 Root beer available - both diet and high test. Enjoy! Cathy

Buz & Neds is, for my money, the best 'q you'll find in ole Virginny. Stick w/ the pig sandwhich w/ slaw and extra sauce on top. if you must, the baby backs ain't bad. good tea, also. and, for those travelling on 95, they are about a 1/2 mile from interstate. easy on/off. what's not to love?

I drove, I found, I ate, I left, I now review. When I got off the exit, I found Bill/s Barbeque, and It looked cool. I think I had a sandwich there about 10 years ago, and it wasn't bad, but I was there for Buzz and Neds. When we got there, it was hoppin, very busy, which is a good sign. I wanted to get the Jalpenio corn fries, BUT I WAS INFORMED THEY DON"T MAKE THEM ANYMORE! Bummer, but the Mac and Cheese and fries were very good. My wife got the Sweet Potato fries(not my thing), and she liked them. She liked her barbeque Chicken sandwich very much, and my pork sandwich was very good, no chunks of fat like other places. We did not get the ribs but they looked very good indeed. My one complaint(or observation) The music was a little too loud, and the sweet tea was not as good as I would have liked(I like the tea at Dixie Bones up in Woodbridge) Next time, we will try the ribs. Matt

We too just returned from a road trip Philadelphia to Alabama, via I 95 and I85 and stopped off at Buz and Ned's. I thought the pulled pork sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. Too many times you get the sandwich and wonder why there's so much roll and so little meat. Not so at Buz and Ned's! I would go back in a heartbeat! Slaw was excellent as were my husband's bourbon-cinnamon apples.

Buz and Ned's used to set up a smoker in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart on Parham Road, which was right down the street from where I used to work, but set up shop in their current location a couple of years ago because the Evil Empire probably wasn't thrilled that people were only coming there for Q and not to shop! I went to the restaurant a couple of weeks ago--still awesome. What wasn't awesome was that I'd brought my camera to take pictures and forgot batteries. I'll try to get out there soon and get a full Roadfood report up because Richmond needs to represent!
