Watch out for your basil. There's a fungus among us, and it's hitting the basil crop hard.

          When 2nd Ave was "under the El" and every other shop was a Pub and
          when every Pub was irish--------there would be no Rathbone's ----
          No English Need Show Up there was nothing there for them. 

          They tore down the EL and sold the scrap metal to Japan and they used it to build the ships that attached Pearl Harbor-------

          BY the by---I have basil growing great on the balcony---anyone need any just
          send a self addressed stamped envelope------

            My basil  is in  great shape.........................my  daughter in  law  planted  large pots of it!

                My basil has been brought in for the season. It has been cool and wet and we know that basil likes warmer temps. Other than being a little stunted by the cold, it is doing better. I have mine in pots on a shelf that I built facing the southern exposure. I brought my chives in for the same reason.
