Bye Bye Blossom

Sad news for those who've enjoyed visits to Charleston, West Virginia, not to mention those who live there. The Blossom Deli is shutting down over the weekend. It's been the Blossom Deli for some years now, but I remember when it was the Blossom Dairy, and a great place for lunch downtown. http://dailymail.com/Business/201008311115

I can't possibly be the only one who thought Mayim Bialik died, right?

I can't say. I had a Bialik today for lunch with some cream cheese.

Michael- I share your disappointment. Only made it to the Blossom Deli one time, but how many places can you eat a fine steak, followed by a hot fudge sundae, in a beautiful art deco room? Not enough, that is for sure!

Buffetbuster: When I used to eat lunch there it was club sandwiches, toasted cheese sandwiches, tuna salad and hot dogs.

Michael- And from what I understand, that was still the typical lunch menu. But, they turned into a more upscale restaurant for dinner. A little schizophrenic, but it seemed to work.
