Clearly the most notable thing to come out of that game:

Even though his name sounds like a bad late-night TV joke from 1998, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is a real person.

Just got through watching the 'Bama/Texas A&M game and I'm exhausted!

Me Too!
If I were a Pro Scout, I'd give higher marks to AJ McCarron as far as fitting into a Pro-Style offense is concerned. That guy can handle pressure!

The players should have walked out

You force a team to ride 900 miles on a bus, AND (mind you that the players aren't paid athletes) You make the players buy their own food on the trip, and the floor in the weight room is unstable and not safe.

I would walk out too.

The Players have ended their boycott. I hope things improve for them.

Assuming both teams play well, I've got to go with the big one, FSU/Auburn. Clemson/Ohio State could be another.

The Dollar Bowl:  University of Texas v. Alabama (or perhaps Ohio State).

Ten years @ $10,000,000.00 per is what I hear UT will be offering either Saban or Meyer to replace Mac Brown.

Mrs. Saban says they are going NOWHERE. Anyway, 7.5 is probably more money in T-town than 10 mil in Austin.

Yup, Saban has said he's going to retire from Alabama, having just signed a "multi-year" contract extension at around $7 million per year.

Don't remember a year where there have been better, more action packed, College Games including some Bowl Games than this season.
The Athletic abilities of some of these players has been amazing.

Who's Gonna Coach Texas?????????????????????????????????

A soon-to-be very wealthy man.

Local talk has it being Art Briles, presently at Baylor.

Edit:  BTW, UT has more cash ($19B endowment + State Budget + Tuition/Fees + Sports + Television Contracts) than any other university in the world, by far.

Add to that the most fertile recruiting territory in the U.S. and the fact that Austin is "party-central" and there is really no excuse for the Longhorns not being one of the top three teams each and every year.

So, whoever is 'crowned' head coach will have an uneasy head.

Well, Florida State finally faced a good team. They won. Too bad. On the other hand, an SEC team didn't win the title. That's good.

I must admit I gave up on the Criminoles at halftime so I didn't see the comeback.  At least the SEC got knocked off the pedestal this year.

True, but those of us in the South East are still pretty satisfied with the state of college football down here.
