Tulane opened a new stadium in the residential and campus area of New Orleans, it looked great and cozy and was supposed to be a sellout for a team that hadn't had one in decades. Half the seats near the field looked empty, could have been students not showing up. They had a great matchup against their old SEC rival Georgia Tech, and played close for a while. They are somehow in the American Athletic Conference now.

The USC - Stanford War was just that. I was exhausted just watching it!
How Brady Hoke keeps his job is beyond me??? I bet he doesn't last the whole season.

We know one thing already after two games. The Big Ten won't be in the 4 team championship playoffs.

The Big Ten is downright embarrassing.  3 double digit primetime losses on Saturday.  Also two losses to MAC schools and it took nebraska a last second touchdown to beat an FCS school.  I'm not sure they would make an 8 team playoff at this point.

As BAD as the Big 10-11 look, they may have an outside shot at the Rose Bowl if they stay healthy!!!
You heard it here first.
I'm sold on Coach Franklin. I saw him work Miracles at Vandy. I'm also a USC Fan and I wanted them to hire him instead of "Sark the Snark"

Who keeps count anymore? Could be they just assume only 10 teams every year will be presentable.

As a BC fan who has suffered through a couple of bad seasons, I hope that BC's victory over USC is a sign of things to come, and not just a spoiler alert for USC.

That "Kid" at FL State keeps devaluing himself on a daily basis with the NFL.
What an Idiot!
EDIT: 9/20/14 @ 10PM MST
Nice goin FSU! - Some way to punish the Idiot- You let him roam the sideline at the FSU-Clemson game carrying on like the Idiot he is. Some punishment.
ABC should be fined for giving him as much camera time as the game and displaying his Antics.

Upset Weekend!

It happens every year! There's always ONE weekend when a bunch of ranked teams who should have won, Don't.
The USC - ASU Game was unreal!

Until such time that Joe Pa's victories are reinstated and Beaver Stadium becomes Paterno Field, I could really give a "flip" about college football.

I realize that may mean quite a wait, but so what.

I'm just pleasantly amazed by Georgia shutting out Mizzou, at their house, without our big shot running back.  I was hoping we'd win, but I wasn't expecting that.  Unfortunately, I was working and didn't know about it until it was finished.

And how about Bama dropping the ball four times and almost losing to Arkansas?  Boy, that Lane Kiffin hire... I just don't know about that.

This has been so far the craziest year of College Football that I can ever remember. Crazy finishes, upsets, unpredictable games etc.
