We are looking forward to both events... Tomorrow I will be watching, and next Friday we will be alert to the throng of Teenage Groupies who will be following Mr & Mrs CSD at the dinner in Milwaukee! (and Saturday's visit to Freddie's).

Quickdog, Do you get the CBS Morning thing on a time-delay? Or you can snag it off the East Coast Satellite at the same time it is broadcast back here. I think they may frown on linking it to the net at an "off-Network" site.

It is national and is on CBS, The Sunday Morning Show. Surely you get that in California. I bet they sell pork pie hats in California too.

It is national and is on CBS, The Sunday Morning Show. Surely you get that in California. I bet they sell pork pie hats in California too.

For California, I highly recommend the straw porkpie in "natural" as the e-ticket. Brown would be my choice for Vegas.

First Green Acres at 8am (TV Land), 1/2 hour of the Today show, then await CSD's CBS Premiere.

I just got done watching it. You and the HDU came across great! Congratulations! I do think Bill Geist should stay at CBS, though.

I hadn't seen this thread, so I didn't know about the show. I was just sitting here reading the paper and heard Geist say something about a hot dog university. I looked up and there was Reitman on the screen!!

CDS, Great clip & story, but it was too short. And none of your secrets were given. I believe I could smell that big fat dog shown. OR maybe that’s my wife boiling the dog (hot dog, not the puppy) for lunch.

Great job! The piece was so good. I agree though, too short, but it gave great exposure and was very interesting. Congrats! Totally enjoyed it! And I know I've seen that "Poupon U" guy before - there was a show that featured his mustard store - could have been The CBS Morning show a while back, actually. Guess it makes total sense that a mustard connoisseur would attend Hot Dog U. Again, great job! Sue

Congrats on the great segment, CSD! Wow, that Big Wally is -huge-!! Nice to see the kids too, but I can understand how Big Wally defeated one of them. LOL They did great too--weren't intimidated by the tv cameras and seemed very natural.

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed CBS Sunday morning - I haven't watched it in years. If I watch anything on Sunday morning, it's the Weekend Today show and my local news, but I think it's time to start watching again. They do such good shows, and did a really fine segment on HDU and you, CSD. Congrats again!!

Exactly. I said to my wife as they were discussing good and bad tables during the following segment, "I'd rather eat a hot dog."

I wish the neon green relish was available in Knoxville. I have never seen it any place other than the Wisconsin/Illinois area.

I do not know if it is any better than any other relish but it sure is pretty.
