Cadbury Mini-Eggs

Seeing as Easter's this weekend, I thought I'd thow my two cents in on my favorite chocolate treat this holiday. I just love how they'd melt in your mouth, but if you dropped them, the thin candy coating would shatter like a real eggshell, and would be a pain to pick up off the floor. Anyway, I missed out on having them last year, as they weren't in any nearby stores. But this year, my mom surpised me by sending me a bag. I'm still enjoying them a day later, surprisingly. :)

I always like the Robin's eggs candies at Easter. They had a hard candy shell, but inside they were like a malted milk ball.

Cadbury eggs,Jelly Beans and Peeps!!!!! It just wouldn't be an Easter basket without them!!! My wife and I life here in Oklahoma, my son is 34 and lives in Chico Ca--my daughter is 27 and in Brooklyn NY---so i guess there really is NO GOOD EXCUSE for the fact that yesterday i brought home Cadbury eggs--Jelly beans --and Peeps and fake green plastic grass! Got a feeling that there are two little kids hiding in this house just waiting to find that easter basket in the am!!! Hope you all have a wonderful Easter!!!

I also love the mini eggs. They are so difficult to find here in NY. Since Easter is usually around my birthday my friends usually find some to send. Yum! One year though, I made the mistake of freezing them- and the shells broke. So.. here it is on the 29th of the month. Have any of you seen those wonderful purple bags of candy marked down as an after Easter special? (tongue wagging here!) I will be in the Dallas area this weekend... any sightings? Thanks

I saw where they had a clone recipe for these eggs on Copy Cat(with a "K" maybe"), I didn't view it as I'm not a sweet eater but you lovers of these may want to go there and search it.
