Canada to Florida, I 81 and 95

This is my first post for roadfood.............any suggestions for homestyle restaurants and motel accomodations along our route and reasonably close to the interstates would sure be appreciated, thanx in advance.

Don't miss "South of the Border" in Dillin (sp?) SC. You can't miss it with all the signs.

I'm with ya', katie. Went there on a family trip when I was 11 (a very long time ago) and I still have nightmares. That place is AWFUL!

Small problem, I81 never touches I95. Do you mean I75 which I81 nearly intersects with near Knoxville TN, or do you mean to connect to I95 somewhere? What do you like? Where would you likely be at meal times?
