You need to go to your account on PayPal. I cancelled mine so it would not renew after the current subscription period. You have to 'fiddle" around on your account but you should see a link for renewing accounts or something like that. Follow the prompts.
If worse comes to worse, you can always call PayPal (they are accessible) and talk to them personally. Look for the "contact" link. I've done that before on other issues and never had a problem talking to a rep. And, they're American!
